Vinny Diesel Repair

Effective Date: December 12, 2025

By requesting service or dropping off a vehicle, the customer (“Owner”) authorizes Vinny Diesel Repair (“Shop”) to perform diagnostics and repairs and agrees to the following:

Diagnostic Authorization

Owner authorizes diagnostic testing necessary to identify vehicle issues. Diagnostic fees are non-refundable and due whether or not repairs are approved.

Estimates & Repair Approval

Estimates are based on visible and testable conditions. Diesel vehicles may have hidden or additional failures discovered once work begins. No additional work will be performed without Owner approval. Approval may be given verbally, by SMS, or electronically.

Parts Deposits

The Shop may require partial or full payment for parts before ordering. Special-order, electrical, fuel system, and emissions-related parts are non-refundable once ordered.

Customer-Supplied Parts

Customer-supplied parts carry no warranty. Labor related to customer-supplied parts is not refundable. If a supplied part is defective, incorrect, or causes failure, Owner is responsible for all labor, diagnostics, and rework. The Shop reserves the right to refuse customer-supplied parts.

Storage Fees & Abandonment (Georgia)

Vehicles not picked up within 48 hours of repair completion, repair decline, or notice of completion will be considered abandoned. Storage fees of $55 per day begin on day 3, including weekends and holidays.

Payment & Non-Payment

Payment is due in full before vehicle release, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Shop retains possession of the vehicle until all charges, including storage fees, are paid.

Mechanic’s Lien & Foreclosure (Georgia)

If a vehicle remains unpaid and abandoned:

After 7 days, the Shop may file a mechanic’s lien and abandonment notice with the appropriate court.

After an additional 7 days, the Shop may proceed with foreclosure of the lien, including sale or disposal of the vehicle, in accordance with Georgia law.

Proceeds may be applied to unpaid repairs, diagnostics, parts, storage, legal, and administrative fees.

Limitation of Liability

The Shop is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, rust, corrosion, hidden failures, or damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, weather, or events beyond its control.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
